Something about Marco Rubio’s statement that “we knew that Israel was going to attack Iran and that then Iran would strike us, so we preemptively struck them”…. Hmmm… preemptive strike… wasn’t that what Japan did to us at Pearl? A day that will live in infamy.
The US conducts a massive bombardment of another sovereign nation and cannot own up to being at WAR. We’ve sent 100s of missiles and strategic bombers into a country — and that’s not war? Preemptive strike without the sanctioning from Congress. Preemptive strike without any clear statement of rationale or objectives? Preemptive strike totally dismissive of the impacts on broader international security?
In for a nickel, in for a dime? Pete Hegseth commits war crimes.

Bibi says “bomb Iran more and send them our love”.
But what justifies this death and destruction? What will come out of this National dysfunction?

So far, six American military service members have been killed and three jet fighters destroyed.
Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth on Fox: "This is what the fake news misses. We’ve taken control of Iran's airspace and water without boots on the ground. We control their fate. But when a few drones get through or tragic things happen, it's front-page news," he continued. "I get it, the press only wants to make the president look bad, but try for once to report the reality. The terms of this war will be set by us at every step."
Tragic things happen? Is that all you say about six Americans killed?
Hegseth continued: "As I said Monday, the mission is laser-focused. Obliterate Iran's missiles and drones and facilities that produce them, annihilate its navy and critical security infrastructure, and sever their pathway to nuclear weapons. Iran will never possess a nuclear bomb. Not on our watch. Not ever."
But it was Trump who took us out of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action that was keeping Iran from developing nuclear weapons.
This war and all of its horrors belong entirely to Trump and his Gang of Phascists -- and that includes the Senators who voted against today's War Powers Resolution.
