Not as good as before Reagan, but beneficial. We now have greater negative factors post Trump than Reagan. Oligarchs, A I, foreign dictators, and government systems to be completely rebuilt, some physical, some working systems. They all will be different than post Trump.
First Step: Democrats, progressives and true democracy caring republicans, federal level, state level county level have to accept, acknowledge and act upon the fact that election tabulations were altered, manipulated, with additional fake county votes for Trump and Republican senators and possibly house in key swing states in 2016, 2024. The same is occurring again in Republican primaries in 2026. The poll analysis have a margin of error 3 to 7% BUT not a landslide difference of what has been occurring in many of the primaries.
The same thing will happen again in November 2026!

Good KARMA for McConnell would be he lives a long painful life and his mind functional enough that he realizes the damage he did to a great democracy and the suffering he inflicted upon the poor and struggling middle class and all just so the top 1% could become so super wealthy that it exceeds comprehension.
An interaction between Joe Biden sums up Democratic and Republican positions. Biden was touting a piece of legislation to McConnell when he was majority leader of the Senate. McConnell replied, “You are assuming that I care about what you’re talking about.” Republicans do NOT have the general welfare in mind.
I hope that the midterms will bring us some relief but I know the fanta menace and his clown car cabal are doing everything legal and illegal to stop that. I still have hope and am encouraging all my family and friends to get out and vote. Im thinking of volunteering with the local democratic party but am approaching retirement and still working full time at a physical job so I have little energy. I still have hope.

And we came a long way in reducing abject poverty. Being retired I have gotten involved down here in Charleston in Dem politics … but we’re definitely in the minority.
