Now the FBI is refusing to work with or share evidence with the Minnesota State investigators on the murder of Renee Good. I believe that this violates the Constitution. Law enforcement by states is protected by the 10th Amendment, covered by the 6th Amendment which states that crimes are to be tried by juries where the crime occurred, and is not one of the powers denied to the states in Article 1 Section 10.

Wellll … who’s going to enforce the law?? They literally could give a crap about the Constitution.

I thought ICE and Border Patrol were the same.

Richard Van Atta's avatar

They are two separate entities — Border Parol is supposed to be only “near” the border … but that’s interpreted rather broadly . ICE was created during the Bush administration in response to 911 and has become essentially an independent operation.

Thank you very much for the clarification. Though I fancy ... Minneapolis is pretty far from the border, be it Mexico or Canada, isn't it? I forgot about Bush. Since bin Laden was killed, ICE could have been disbanded. Just wishful thinking.

Yeah but they consider Canada and Great Lakes to be within their distance. If you’ve been up there you would know it’s like being in Canada…

I never visited that part of the USA. And now, with everything happening, and my Native traits, I prefer to stay in Uruguay.

Richard Van Atta's avatar

How are things in Uruguay? Not as crazy as Argentina?

No, at least our meek president talks to people, when he decides to make an apparition, not to his cloned dogs and spiritual advisers, as Milei does.

The border where CBP can operate is within 100 miles of any border. Minneapolis is not within 100 miles of any border. I don't know if there is any exception that would apply.

It’s close to Lake Superior …

Patrice La Belle, M.D.'s avatar

But not the border that runs through the Great Lakes, but those technicalities don't matter under this administration. Minneapolis is more than 100 miles from any Great Lake.

Go into your spam folder and move it to inbox (may work in some email programs). It may ask if it is spam so you can click no. If it doesn't work on a phone app it might in a computer browser.

I shall see how it works.

I cannot share a picture of the agent that murdered Renee Good in comments, but I have a link that shows what he looks like. Please share it.

Wouldn’t you know—they took the link down !

That's why I hate Instagram. I only keep it to message with my daughter.

But, The killer has been caught. Now we'll see if the FBI will sweep it under the rug of if the traitor squatting in our White House pardons the S.O.B.

Agent of Chaos responded to my comment with his own.

That still doesn't give him a right to shoot to kill. He should be removed from the front lines because of his actions. He must be held responsible with a civil lawsuit.

Phoenix213's avatar

Hopefully he has been arrested since what he did was just plain murder.

I haven't heard any more news about him.

Wayne's avatar

The orange stain on our country said he will pardon him on federal charges. That leaves a civil lawsuit to bring him to justice.

Phoenix213's avatar

That will depend if Minneapolis or Minnesota can find the *astardf before he can leave the state.

I keep looking for update but so far I haven't found any.

It is the Republicans who must protest, too. However, at this point, Trump's cabinet is all in with him and his power grabs, so any action would be up to Congress.
