Good list! The intimidated and the withdrawn and the complacent. Mayhaps adding the indifferent?

Indifference = complacency?

I think, quite similar. Indifferent, doesn't give a toss about what happens. Complacent, everything glides off, without affecting. Since I learnt English in the 1970s, mayhaps the meanings have changed. I still remember learning gay as happy, joyful, merry.

I try to be 1) happy 2) joyful 3) merry —

Not gay in the current usage…

But some say I’m more of a curmudgeon!

NOBODY IS COMING TO SAVE US.

I have some hope that, if they cannot be aroused to help crush this regime, the stupid, willfully ignorant and apathetic will stay in their silo and let the rest of us get this shitstorm squared away. Some hope, not a lot. Between their propaganda and AI, we're fighting strong headwinds.

I look forward to obliterating these magats in November. The only reason he was elected was his phony promise to fix the economy. Now that the economy is much worse than when he was elected, we crush him like we should have in 24.

I sure as hell hope so Richard! We truly HAVE to is our CIVIC duty just like VOTING to be there when we have to be.

I've been active since I was 15 and campaigned as a Teen for John Kennedy. Through various iterations of my life (Catholic school kid, military spouse, college student, divorced mother, communications professional, etc etc), I've carried my big mouth with me. (I have an excuse, being Italian. We can't shut up.) My daughter swears I'm going to be arrested at the next No Kings march. But at my age (81), a life sentence in prison doesn't mean anything.

I chair a group of friends and friends-of-friends who meet every Friday to write postcards to Democratic voters, urging them to get to the polls. Since we organized almost ten years ago, we've written and mailed 70,000 postcards. Doing this kind of work, along with the many other groups like ours across the country, has given us a sense of purpose and a feeling of control. Most of us are "old ladies" in our 60s or so. Our oldest member is 98, and our youngest is 19.

I'll be damned if I leave a totalitarian government to my grandchildren.

Glad you’re doing the work to oust the REPUGNANTCANS—we need a Blue Tsunami!

I’m supporting Annie Andrews’ campaign to defeat Lascivious Lindsey from the senate. Maybe a long shot but I think we’ve got a chance.
